Helicopter Loading & Capacity

All passengers and gear will be weighted prior to flight, please make sure you organize your load before you arrive. 

Safety must come First!

To help with loading, please do not bring;

  • Externally framed packs. Roll bags are a lot easier on the helicopter interior and fit into the helicopter easier,
  • Chilly-bins or boxes larger than 70 litres or more than 42cm wide or 45cm high,
  • Hard gun cases,
  • Packs with tents, boots, bed rolls sleeping bags attached to the outside of them. They will be removed.

1 – 3 Passengers

  • Two passengers in the front seat, one in the back,
  • One pack or roll bag each,
  • One day pack each,
  • One rifle each,
  • Two food boxes, between you (maximum size of wine case),
  • One chilly-bin (maximum 70lts and no more than 42cm wide and 45cm high).
  • Two SMALL soft Chiller bags between the group,
  • No other gear

Maximum Load 400 kgs

4 Passengers One Load

  • Two passengers in front and two in the back,
  • One pack or roll bag each,
  • One rifle each,
  • No other gear.

  • One Rifle each,
  • One chilly bin, maximum size 70 lts and no more than 42cm wide and 45cm high.
  • 3 food boxes between the group (maximum size of a wine box),
  • 3 SMALL soft chiller bags between you,
  • 2 Tents between you.

  • 1 additional chilly-bin, same size as above,
  • 1 additional food box as above,
